These new things happening in my life has stirred my desire to finally have a coordinated living room! I'm only 21 guys!! In my other homes, the vibe consisted of an earthy/ band posters/ randomness... And well, lets just say starting a family sooN has inspired me to have nest a little and actually apply effort to ProJect: HOUSE to HOME... here are some pics of what I've got to start with so far.. ITs a process~ :)
FraMe DesiGn: BLUE PRINT
Got this idea searching for Dr.Seuss decoration, which is my baby nursery theme, only they had blue and red frames with a different amount and layout. So I hit up Helping Hands and found these used frames for fifty-cents to a buck a piece, Went home, toor out the old pictures, and glass, and painted them each a couple coats (but NoT perfectly, which allows that rustic vintage look)
in plaCe...
Coach Pillows that were the First branch of my theme idea. They were on sale at Tuesday morning for only 12$ each
Sry so blurry!! this is a Picture of a quilt in a magazine, that I am currently transforming into a canvas painting... This process consist of Sooo Many steps...
- Back ground color
- Draw even circles on canvas
- Make stencils= draw designs on computer paper, cover with clear tape for thickness of stencil, cut out designs
- "stencil" designs, (and in between circle designs) on designated circles on canvas
- Blend paint colors to match exact colors
- Diligently paint every little detail through out layout!!
Thats it for today, stay tuned for more DIY projects and for the final product of this one!!
